What’s on tap (literally) for St. Patrick’s Day, weekend

When St. Patrick’s Day falls on a weekday, it’s like the luck of the Irish is with everyone because the parties stretch for days. Charlestonians know how to celebrate the holiday, and 2026 offers special food, drink and activities to raise a glass to the emerald isle. Sláinte!  Here’s a look at what’s ahead, in no particular order:

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co.

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. will have a family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day party March 14 with $5 beers all day (including green beer) and live music from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Face painting and balloon art will be offered from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m, and Journey Home Rescue Alliance will be there with adoptable puppies.

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. is at 1505 King St. 

Snafu Brewing Company 

For St. Patrick’s Day, Snafu Brewing Company will offer a FuRock mint shake and Chucky Larms (Lucky Charms–inspired) sours.

Snafu Brewing Company is at 3280 Industry Dr. in North Charleston.
