The Blue Devils (18-10, 5-1 ACC) are coming off a conference series victory over No. 11 Virginia Tech over the weekend. The Blue Devils snapped Virginia Tech’s 15-game win streak Friday night as freshman Adelyn Matthews delivered the game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh to lift Duke to a 7-6 walk-off win. The offense was highlighted by graduate student Tyrina Jones, who launched her second grand slam of the season in the opening frame. Duke earned a 5-2 victory on Saturday to clinch the series victory before falling 10-2 in five innings in the series finale Sunday night.
UNC Wilmington (23-22, 11-7 AAC) continues its road swing after a conference series sweep over North Carolina A&T last weekend. The Seahawks posted back-to-back run-rule victories over the Aggies to secure the series before completing the sweep with a 7-3 win on Sunday. Offensively, the Seahawks are led by junior Cassidy Relay, hitting .500 through 25 games with 37 hits, nine RBI and 16 walks. Sophomore Lynsie Herman leads the team inside the circle with a 1.68 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 33.1 innings.

Duke and UNC Wilmington will face off for the sixth time in program lore. The Blue Devils lead the all-time series, 5-0, after claiming a 9-0 run-rule victory over the Seahawks in Wilmington last season.
