Sierra Poetry Festival Fringe Event: “Five Nevada County Women Poets Read”

Please join the Sierra Poetry Festival for this special Festival Fringe Event: Five Nevada County Women Poets Read, 10th Edition, from 6:00 – 7:30 pm on Friday, March 27th at the Miners Foundry in downtown Nevada City!  This is a free, all-ages event!

As one of many pop-up events in celebration of National Poetry Month, the five Nevada County women poets will, for the tenth year, read their work.  Join us in the beautiful Stone Hall of the Miners Foundry to hear the poems of local poets, and enjoy a beverage from the Miners Foundry bar.

The pop-up fringe events lead up to the all-day Sierra Poetry Festival on Saturday, April 18th at the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley.

Collectively, the poets — Kirsten Casey, Judy Crowe, Molly Fisk, Ingrid Keriotis, and Judie Rae — have published hundreds of poems in books, magazines, anthologies, newspapers, and literary journals.  They’ll be reading poems about hope and history, love and life, the joys and tribulations of our time and place . . . and more.

The pop-ups are free events, but donations to Sierra Poetry Festival are gratefully accepted.  The poets’ books will be available for purchase and signing.  For more information regarding the poetry festival and its events, please click here: https://www.sierrapoetryfestival.org/
