Pre-orders for the physical and digital editions of Beast of Reincarnation, the new action RPG developed by Game Freak and published by Fictions, are now available. The game, described as a «one-person, one-dog action RPG,» is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan where Emma, an outcast due to her affliction, and Koo, a blighted dog, embark on a journey together through a harsh yet beautiful world.
The Standard Edition will be offered for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at $59.99, while the Digital Standard Edition will also be available on PC at the same price, with regional equivalents of £49.99, €54.99, and ¥7,979. Both editions include a copy of the game.
The Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 5 is priced at $69.99, with the digital version also launching on Xbox Series X|S and PC at $69.99 (£57.99, €64.99, ¥8,989). This edition includes the base game, Black and Brown Shiba skins for Koo, «Oni’s Hat» for Emma, Emma’s sword «Big Dipper,» 100,000 Amber (in-game currency), and a number of vegetable seedlings.
All pre-orders, regardless of edition, will grant early access to the «Brown Shiba Skin» for Koo and 30,000 Amber as bonus content.
According to Fictions, the game emphasizes the evolving bond between Emma and Koo as they traverse a world marked by impermanence, where forests emerge suddenly from the wasteland. Players can customize their playstyle through unique skill trees, gear, and spirit stones, favoring ranged, stealthy, or aggressive combat approaches.
