BAFTA 2026: Premios y Ganadores Destacados

La película One Battle After Another fue la gran triunfadora de los Premios BAFTA 2026, destacando también las películas Hamnet e I Swear, que recibieron numerosos reconocimientos.

La cinta de Paul Thomas Anderson, que narra la historia de un revolucionario caído en desgracia en busca de su hija adolescente desaparecida, se alzó con seis galardones de un total de 14 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor Director, Mejor Guion Adaptado y Mejor Actor de Reparto para Sean Penn.

I Swear, basada en la historia real de un hombre con síndrome de Tourette que creció en Escocia en la década de 1980, obtuvo dos premios, incluyendo una sorprendente victoria para el actor británico Robert Aramayo, quien fue nombrado Mejor Actor y Estrella Emergente del año en la ceremonia celebrada en el Royal Festival Hall de Londres.

Aramayo superó a pesos pesados de Hollywood como Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet y Ethan Hawke para ganar el premio a Mejor Actor, y dedicó unas palabras especiales a Hawke al aceptar su trofeo.

La actriz irlandesa Jessie Buckley continuó su racha de éxitos en la temporada de premios al ser nombrada Mejor Actriz por su papel en Hamnet.

La actriz británico-nigeriana Wunmi Mosaku ganó el premio a Mejor Actriz de Reparto, superando a nominadas como Teyana Taylor por One Battle After Another y Emily Watson por Hamnet.

Ryan Coogler recibió el BAFTA al Mejor Guion Original, mientras que la película también ganó el premio a la Mejor Banda Sonora.
