I’ve identified in a previous article that walking around Dover in the winter can be challenging. So, we decided to get together and clear out a section of the Dover Community Trail that was filled with snow. One of our members brought a snowblower and everyone else grabbed a tool to move snow and break up the ice along the path.
Our in-person meetings are where we gather to discuss issues that we observe in our local towns and progress we have made on active projects. Join in for the conversation and let me know if you want to bring a topic of your own.

We went out on Saturday, February 21st and cleared snow along the trail at Scenic Drive. There are two wooden fences here where snow had collected and we set to work.

I was so thankful for everyone that showed up and to the members that planned the event. I was really proud of the work we did here. Just a few people, a snowblower, and an afternoon was enough to clear out weeks of built up snow and ice. This is the power of strong citizens, of people who care about a place. If you live in Dover, I hope you enjoy the cleared off Community Trail!
