Prediction
It’s a rare occurrence for two teams to face off three times in 20 days but that’s what we have in the rivalry matchup. A week ago, Vanderbilt jumped on Tennessee early and the Vols were never able to full recover.
The Vols have Nate Ament back but got off to another slow start on Thursday against Auburn. Tennessee found a way to overcome it against the Tigers but needs to avoid it against Vanderbilt.
Can Tennessee control the game inside? Can they better slow down Vanderbilt guards Tyler Tanner and Duke Miles? These are the most important questions. I’ll take Tennessee in a close one.
Tennessee 72, Vanderbilt 70
