Con los partidos de campeonato estatal de Texas concluidos el fin de semana pasado, la temporada oficial ha llegado a su fin, coronando a 143 equipos con un récord perfecto.
Nueva York lidera la lista con 11 equipos invictos, considerando un mínimo de nueve partidos jugados. Buford (Georgia), campeón nacional según MaxPreps, encabezó a 23 escuelas sin derrotas dentro del ranking de las 100 mejores. Delaware, Hawái, Vermont y Virginia fueron los únicos estados que no tuvieron ningún equipo invicto, mientras que diez estados se conformaron con un solo representante sin conocer la derrota.
