MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A Silver Spring dentist was arrested after sexually assaulting a patient during procedures, according to the Montgomery County Police Department. Investigators believe there could be more victims.
Dr. Ermais Semaie was arrested on Thursday.

Police said a woman came forward on March 2, claiming Semaie had assaulted her on two separate occasions during procedures when a hygienist was not in the room.
Investigators said Semaie had faced similar allegations in 2018, but no criminal charges were filed at that time. Semaie did temporarily have his license suspended at the time.
Based on the current allegations and the 2018 case, officers said they believe there could be more victims.
Semaie faces multiple counts of fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault.
