Delaware County Crash Kills Quapaw Man

DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. –

One person has died following a crash in Delaware County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Aaron Miller was driving on County Road S 575 when he missed a curve and struck another vehicle.

Investigators say the second car was parked at the side of the road and the driver was outside of the vehicle when the crash occurred. The driver of the parked vehicle, identified by OHP as 40-year-old Toby Myers of Quapaw, was taken to a hospital in Grove, where he was later pronounced dead.

A passenger in that vehicle was also injured and taken to the hospital. Their condition has not been released. Miller was not injured. A passenger in his vehicle was also not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
