Ganadores de los Premios Quirino de Animación Iberoamericana

The ninth edition of the Quirino Awards for Ibero-American Animation concluded on April 17 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the announcement of the winners of its ninth edition. The event, held in the Canary Islands, brought together creators, producers, and industry professionals from across the region to celebrate excellence in animation across various formats. The awards, which honour the legacy of pioneering animator Quirino Cristiani, recognise outstanding achievements in feature films, series, short films, school shorts, commissioned works, and video game animation. Beyond the accolades, the Quirino Awards serve as a platform for the Ibero-American animation industry, fostering collaboration through its Co-Production and Business Forum, where approximately one hundred companies from twenty countries engage in annual B2B meetings. The gala highlighted the diversity and creative potential of animation produced throughout Ibero-America, reinforcing the awards’ mission to strengthen cultural and professional ties between both sides of the Atlantic.
