Guam’s Jazmin Wolford Taitano won the title of National Ms Curvy 2026-2027 at the National Miss Curvy Pageant in Carson City, Nevada on March 14, Pitbull Empire said in a media release.
Taitano competed against delegates from across the nation.
She delivered an outstanding performance, sweeping major awards across all divisions, including Most Photogenic, Best in Talent, Best in Evening Gown, Spokesmodel or platform presentation, and high score interview, a testament to her preparation, poise, and dedication, Pitbull Empire said.
“Winning this pageant is more than a dream come true for me. I’ve worked so hard to make our island proud,” Taitano said in a statement. “Winning Best in Talent, where I was able to showcase our culture through dance and song, is the most memorable part of this experience. Working with Guma Mahiga and Patrick Camacho, I am so thankful for their time, patience, and dedication in preparing me for the talent portion.”
The pageant featured four divisions: Teen, Miss, Ms, and Ms Elite, with winners selected based on excellence across multiple categories.
Taitano is no stranger to pageantry. In 2023, she earned Best in Evening Wear at the Miss Voluptuous International Pageant, and in 2024, she made history as the first-ever Miss Guam Curve titleholder.
“We’re so proud of Jazmin and all her accomplishments. She highlighted Guam in such a positive way,” Jenei Aguon, creative director of Pitbull Empire and Asia Pacific regional director for the pageant, said in a statement. “We’re proud to show that Guam has the talent to compete alongside the best in the nation.”
Also recognized during the recent event was Charlene Raguindin, who was awarded the inaugural title of International Ambassador, National Ms Curvy Asia Pacific. Raguindin was recognized as the Spirit of Curvy for her positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
The Guam delegation was led by Kevin Aguon, director of Pitbull Empire, alongside his wife Jenei Aguon, and Tushua Prog, contestant coordinator and manager.
Together, the team played an integral role in preparing and supporting Guam’s delegates, continuing Pitbull Empire’s legacy of excellence in pageantry.
