Harrisburg gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Vienna Eagles with a sharp 11-1 win. The Bulldogs haven’t had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Rylan Palmer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That’s the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Hankins, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Harrisburg was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vienna only posted a batting average of .062.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will take on Johnston City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vienna, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Crab Orchard at 4:00 p.m.
