WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police in Winston-Salem are investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition late Sunday night.
According to the Winston-Salem Police Department, officers responded to the 1000 block of Ada Avenue around 10:02 p.m. on March 22 after reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man who’d been shot. He was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Investigators say an argument led to the shooting, and the people involved are known to each other. No additional details about a suspect have been released at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
