SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – One person was transported to an area hospital following a one-vehicle rollover crash Saturday night in Lincoln County.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred on 271st. Street, just east of South Dakota Highway 11. An investigation revealed that a Buick Lucerne was headed east when it veered off the right side of the road, overcorrected to the left, and hit a driveway and ditch.
The Buick then launched into the air, struck a tree, rolled, and came to rest up against a residence and a trailer. Due to the severity of the crash, a medical helicopter was requested to the scene.
The female driver of the Buick has non-life-threatening injuries.
