NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — North Little Rock Police are investigating a retired Lt. Colonel after a viral video accused him of having inappropriate conduct with a minor.
In the viral video, Lt. Colonel Daniel Chism is confronted by a group of vigilantes who allegedly posed as a 15-year-old girl. The vigilantes accuse Chism of sending them a picture of his genitals and attempting to meet them when he believed that they were a minor.
KATV News talked to the North Little Rock Police Department, who confirmed that they are currently investigating Chism. No charges have been filed against him so far.
Chism is a former Head of Facilities engineer at Camp Robinson, Colonel Joel Lynch, a spokesperson with the base, confirmed. He retired from his position on Feb. 8.
He is also a former Bryant School Board member, the Bryant School District confirmed. He was appointed to the school board to fill an open position, and served from 2017-2020.
