TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (WWBT/WBRC) – A 22-year-old Henrico County woman died on Saturday in an accidental shooting in Alabama.
WBRC reports that Trussville Police officers were called around 9:30 p.m. to the 7700 block of Deer Trail to assist the Trussville Fire Department with a medical call involving a gunshot wound.
Authorities say the victim, identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office as Whitney Harlow Robeson, of Henrico, Virginia, was taken to UAB-St. Vincent’s East Hospital where she later died.
The coroner’s office ruled the shooting accidental.
Police say one person has been detained for questioning.
