On this occasion, she posted a video of a photo shoot she did in Miami, in which she wore a spectacular black bikini.

Enjoying the city’s sun and giving her best poses to the camera, Jane Garret, Miss Nepal, managed to inspire many women to accept themselves as they are and break the precepts of ideal bodies that have been imposed for years.

Miss Nepal speaks with Alicia Machado

This week, the beauty queen shared with Alicia Machado, Miss Universe 1996, on the show ‘Sit Down if You Can!’, broadcast by Univision.

During the show, they both talked about the criticisms they received for their weight and for breaking the Miss mold.

< p > In Jane Garret’s case, she said the situation was so overwhelming that she thought about taking her own life: “Even a year ago, I wanted to take my own life, but in the past year I had to change how I thought, you know? I really hated my body, I hated myself, I lost all my self-esteem, I also suffered from anorexia because I have hormonal problems that make me gain weight. Still today people call me ‘pig’, ‘whale’, ‘buffalo’, they call me that, but I don’t let that affect me anymore because I have self-validation”.

She also commented: “All you need is self-validation, it is the most important, from God and from you”.

At Miss Universe, the candidate from Nepal became one of the most beloved by the public, since during the competition she captivated many with her story and when she walked the runway, she did so with a strength and security that made her stand out among the participants.
