Posible motivo de la masacre de una familia puertorriqueña en Illinois: revelaciones impactantes

ROMEOVILLE – The Romeoville Police Department in Illinois revealed on Thursday the possible motive for the massacre of a Puerto Rican family on September 17.

The victims were identified as Alberto Rolón and Zoraida Bartolomei and their two children, aged 7 and 9. Their three dogs were also killed.

According to authorities, the suspect identified as Nathaniel Huey Jr. and one of the victims, Bartolomei, were involved in an extramarital relationship. The police added that “the existence of this relationship was known by both Bartolomei’s husband, Alberto Rolón, and by Huey Jr.’s girlfriend, Ermalinda Palomo.”

Although the Romeoville police clarified that their investigation is not yet complete, the evidence gathered indicates that Palomo had prior knowledge of Huey Jr.’s intention to commit the murders. In addition, according to police, Palomo was involved in the planning of the crime and drove the vehicle to the scene.

“Digital evidence shows the route of the vehicle used to commit the crime from Huey Jr. and Palomo’s home in Streamwood, Illinois, to the 500 block of Concord in Romeoville and back to Streamwood at the time the murders occurred. Huey Jr. got out and back into the vehicle involved from the passenger side and Palomo was the driver of the vehicle,” Romeoville police explained in a statement.

The Romeoville police added that there is no evidence to suggest that there are additional suspects in this crime and that they are still awaiting the results of forensic evidence analysis.

Upon the Romeoville police’s revelation of the possible motive for the crime, Telemundo Chicago attempted to contact some relatives of the victims for a comment and, so far, has not received a response.
